The Avatar Hellatone A25 is a 12 inch 25 watt guitar speaker that is made in the U.S. but has the same tonal characteristics of British Alnicos. With its Kraft paper voice coil former, full size 34 oz. Alnico magnet, you get that Vintage tone vibe and bell like chime at an unbelievable low price. Available in 8 ohm or 16 ohm versions.

“Dave, I’ve been running this speaker (A25) in one of your 212 traditional convertible cabs, paired up with a WGS Green Beret using one of your mono/stereo jack panels. Strat with 50s wind pickups (Benson Pickups) straight into a clone of an AC15 using an EF86. When I go mono into the A25, it is quite simply one of the most glorious sounds I’ve experienced in my 30+ years of playing. I don’t know what you’ve done to build this speaker, but it sounds incredible. I have a real-deal Blue in a 1974 clone and the A25 sounds every bit as good as it does.
This isn’t something I normally set out to do….writing emails to vendors/manufacturers…but this seemed to be a special occasion.
