® G410 Vintage Custom Cabinet

This is the new full sized Avatar Vintage G410 guitar cab. It is styled after the famous Bluesbreaker cab from the 60's. It features a slanted front speaker baffle board to point the speakers up slightly towards the player. The construction is voidless Birch Plywood and comes with black tolex and grille color choice. It is available with either a closed back panel or split two piece back for variable partial open back options. The two piece back allows you to have the opening at the top, middle or bottom of the cab for different tone responses. With the opening in the middle you get more mids and highs radiating out into the room from the back of the speaker cones....with the opening at the top, you get a little more low end and with the opening at the bottom, you get even more bass reflecting off of the floor.

With the closed back panel, you get a very focused sound coming off of the front of the speaker cones but with a strong bass. This deluxe cab has two recessed round metal bar handles and a rear metal jack plate with dual 1/4 inch jacks for daisy chaining with other cabs. Switchcraft jacks and thick oxygen free internal speaker wire are standard.

The four tens are rear loaded with T Nuts which makes it easy to swap out speakers for tone experimenting. The favorite speakers for this cabinet are the Celestion G10 ALNICO 40 watt speakers in an open back. It is clean and clear with that wonderful alnico chime.

The Celestion Greenback 10's have a rich full bottom end , sweet mids and with early cone break up for classic boutique tone.

A favorite four speaker cab is to mix two Gold alnicos and two Greenbacks for half alnico chime and half warm overdrive....and either open back for more mid chime exiting the back of the cab or closed back for thicker bottom end.

The Vintage cab dimensions are 30"W x 24.5"H x 12"D. 15mm Birch Plywood. Weight is approximately 59 lbs depending on speakers.

This cab is only available in black tolex but is now available with our other grill cloths such as wheat, black, oxblood, vintage oxblood with gold stripe, fender, silver/black weave, gold/black weave grill.

Vintage cabs are not sold on a trial basis and are not returnable. You get a One year limited warranty. The cab does come with four rubber feet on the bottom but they have just been cropped out of the photos.
