This is the new G210 Traditional guitar speaker cabinet which features
two 10 inch guitar speakers.
This
high quality cab is made of 3/4 inch 13 ply Baltic Birch plywood with rabbet and
dado interlocking side joints for extreme strength. These cabs have deluxe
Tolex with Fabric Grills and your choice of Piping around the grill. Choose
white, black, silver or gold piping.
The grill frame is firmly screwed into the baffle board with long screws instead of loose fitting velcro which can vibrate at moderate volumes.
If you see little dark pull tabs sticking out of the bottom of grills on other cabs, that is an indication that the cabinet is using velcro instead of more secure screws to hold the grill in place.
The Avatar cabinet has two 1/4 inch in/out
jacks (for daisy chaining with another speaker cabinet) mounted on a rear steel
input panel.
The input panel includes Switchcraft jacks with thick oxygen free wire. Slide on wire connectors means no soldering required.
There is a sturdy strap handle on top. The cab comes with four rubber feet on the bottom. The cab comes with your choice of either a partial oval open back panel or with the closed back panel...just one.

The favorite speakers for this cabinet are the Celestion G10 ALNICO 40 watt speakers in an open back. It is clean and clear with that wonderful alnico chime.
The Celestion Greenback 10's have a rich full bottom end , sweet mids and with early cone break up for classic boutique tone.
A favorite two speaker cab is to mix One Gold alnico and one Greenback for half alnico chime and half warm overdrive....and either open back for more mid chime exiting the back of the cab or closed back for thicker bottom end.

The cab dimensions are 22"W x 18"H x 12"D. Weight is approximately 40 lbs depending on speakers. Guitar cabs are not sold on a trial basis and are not returnable. You get a One year limited warranty. See Ordering page. The cab does come with four rubber feet on the bottom but they have just been cropped out of the photos.
