B212 Neodymium bass guitar cab.
The new lighter Eminence NEODYMIUM MAGNET 12s. (New Dynamic Metal) Neo magnets are much stronger than standard ferrite magnets so less is needed to achieve the same magnetic flux...therefore lighter. The Neo cab is rated at 500 watts. The B212 NEO has great low end and punch. The U.S made die cast aluminum framed Neo 12s also have a little more mids and fantastic upper mid clarity. Neo cab weight is only 56 lbs !
Eminence now makes custom LF versions of their Neo deltalite2 12 inch Neo just for Avatar so our new B212 goes even lower in frequency response than the previous Neo 12's. The new custom Neo 12 LF's have a longer cone travel (Xmax) than the stock Eminence model. (just like we did with the deltalite tens for our highly rated B210/B410 models) Super Low End!
The B212's are also available with the regular magnet, regular steel basket Eminence Delta LF speakers. They weigh more making the cab 70 lbs but have even higher power handling at 1000 W. Rms... Same great bass and tone with either speaker type. Same great price with either speaker type.
The Cabinet features rugged 18mm voidless 13 PLY BALTIC BIRCH PLYWOOD construction with strong rabbet corner joints. The front and back boards are dadoed into surrounding top and side boards for extreme interlocking strength plus it has front to rear bracing. The Foster high frequency compression horn tweeter is the most popular tweeter used by some of the best companies in the bass cab business.
The cab uses the new full 12 db mylar crossover network for both the tweeter and bass speaker sections for a more accurate response and for better power handling. There is a tweeter volume control on the back panel.
The cabinet is covered in black carpet, has protective corners, large recessed steel bar handles, full face steel diamond pattern expanded metal grill, front slot port, steel input panel with one Speakon connector and dual 1/4 inch in/out jacks.
